In my last blog I told you that Zoie had her babies late on July 3 and early on July 4. (Another all nighter). Originally she had 6 with one still born. Unforunately she lost one that had its lung punctured durring the birth. She also lost one with failure to thrive. It was just too tiny to make it. However, the other 4 babies are doing really well eventhough they are really small.
Then on July 6 Lucy Lui had her babies. She delivered 6 very healthy puppies. She now has 3 girls and 3 boys. She and the pups are doing very well.
Finally, Shelly started having her babies at 12:30 this morning. She was very nice to me and had a quick delivery and finished up about 2:30 this morning with 4 healthy puppies. She now has 3 boys and 1 girl.
I am wiped out after all these deliverys. Thankfully we don't have anymore pregnant dogs so I will have a break after these ones are ready for thier new homes. However, we will be really busy until then taking care of all these new babies. No boating for me this summer. lol
